“Make the compassionate revolution”, is the message that the Dalai Lama addresses to the youth of the world, in a book co-written in 2017 with Sofia Stril-Rever.

“I believe in you!

My beloved brothers and sisters, my dear young friends,

You, the youth of today, are the generation born at the beginning of the third millennium. Our century is hardly twenty years old; it is still young, like you. The world is ageing at the same pace as you, and it will be what you make of it.

“Having watched you keenly for some time, I now appeal to you because I have enormous faith in your generation.  My young friends, you are my hope for humanity. I want to state it loudly and clearly so that you hear and respond to my message. I am confident in the future, for you have the capacity to lead humanity towards a renewed form of fraternity, justice and solidarity”

Our Better We Better World initiative is the translation into action, all over the world, of this message from the Dalai Lama who is resolutely committed to a better, peaceful and happy world. From day one, he approves and supports our efforts to make the 2030 Agenda a success and reach the 17 SDGs. He knows that it is a long-term endeavor, a marathon of more than a decade, because it will continue at least until the end of the 21st century.

Encouraged by his inspiration and support, we move forward with determination and gratitude, to solve problems and meet challenges, locally and globally.

In Asia, in the big yang there is the little yin, in the big yin there is the little yang.  Likewise, in the darkest darkness, there are sparks of light.

Despite the extreme misfortunes and suffering endured by countless victims since the dawn of time, BWBW stresses that human history has great meaning. It is a position that we will hold with all our might until our last breath.

From the bottom of our being, like the Dalai Lama, we believe in the fundamental goodness of human beings and we have confidence in their collective capacity for resilience, cooperation and renewed capacity to save Humanity, all surviving species and the Earth.

We were 32 participants in the Better We Better World intergenerational seminar in Dharamshala from Sunday November 24 to Friday November 29, 2019.

We had the audience with the Dalai Lama on Thursday November 28, 2019 and here are 2 video links of our audience with His Holiness:
