The Dalai Lama's message to the youth of the world
The book
Make the revolution of compassion is the message that the Dalai Lama addresses to the youth of the world, in a book co-written in 2017 with Sofia Stril-Rever.
The message
My dear brothers and sisters, my young friends,— His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Make the revolution (2017)
You were born at the beginning of this 3rd millennium. You are the youth of the world. This century is not even 20 years old. It is still very young, just like you. The world will grow with you. It will be what you make of it.
I now appeal to you because I have observed you and I have faith in you… My young friends, you are my hope for Humanity. I want to state it loudly and clearly so that you hear and respond to my message. The future, I see it with confidence, for I am convinced that you will make it evolve towards more brotherhood, more justice and more solidarity…
Our Better We Better World initiative is the translation into field actions, everywhere in the world, of this message from the Dalai Lama, who is resolutely committed to a better, peaceful and happy world. From the very first day, he has approved and supported our efforts to achieve the 2030 Agenda and reach the 17 SDGs. He knows it is a long-term undertaking, a marathon of more than a decade, as it will continue at least until the end of the 21st century.
Encouraged by his inspiration and support, we move forward with determination and gratitude, to solve problems and meet challenges, locally and globally.
In Asia, in the great yang there is the small yin, in the great yin there is the small yang. Likewise, in the deepest darkness, there are sparks of light. Despite the misfortunes and extreme sufferings endured by countless victims since the dawn of time, BWBW affirms that the great human History has meaning. This is a position we will hold with all our strength until our last breath.
From the deepest part of our being, like the Dalai Lama, we believe in the fundamental goodness of human beings and we have faith in their collective capacity for resilience, cooperation and a surge of energy to save Humanity, the surviving species and the Earth.

Dalai Lama's message — June 2019
On 6 June 2019, His Holiness the Dalai Lama sent an official message of support to the BWBW initiative:
Testimony
Indeed, the world is passing through immense sufferings during this year 2020 and still nobody knows what will happen in the future. But it is very clear that all of these problems are created directly or indirectly, knowingly or unknowingly by human beings. The majority of the human community is under the influence of greed and selfishness due to ignorance of the real self.
I think our effort of Better We Better World is a befitting moment in the present time. I hope we might be able to contribute something for the betterment of the human future. I wish and pray every success for your efforts, dear Better We Better World community.
