First Seminar BETTER WE BETTER WORLD

Dharamsala, November 25th – 30th 2018

Executive Summary
BETTER WE BETTER WORLDSEMINAR
Dharamsala November 26-30 2018

The Better We Better World program calls for the 5th peaceful Revolution, after 4 major revolutions that changed the history of our planet and the course of human destiny :

1. the cognitive Revolution of Homo Sapiens 70 000 years ago (according to Yuval N. Harari, Sapiens, 2011) ;
2. the agricultural Revolution 12 000 years ago ;
3. the scientific Revolution 500 years ago ;
4. the industrial Revolution 300 years ago, which, along with the scientific Revolution, initiated a massivedestruction of the Earth ecosystem, causing the current 6th mass extinction and threatening the survival of the human species ;
5. The 5th peaceful Revolution is « the cultural Revolution of love and compassion » advocated by the Dalai Lama in 2017 (A Call for Revolution US translation Harper-Collins 2018 &Faites la Révolution Massot 2017).

During the Better We Better World 2018 Seminar, from November 26th to 30th,Professor Samdhong Rinpoche will guide us to reconnect with our inner humanity and satyagraha, “the force of truth and love”. This source of transformational energy can foster a qualitative shift in our mindset, empowering us to launch the disruptive change that is needed to reestablish a peaceful and sustainable future.

In their particular field of expertise and activity, the participants in this innovative BWBW seminar, have all developed a global awareness and outstanding skills, that contribute moving humankind forward. Their contribution is part of a long history, the history of human beings who came before us and gave their best for future generations, just as we do.

The Better We Better World program promotes peer learning. The experience of all participants that have come together makes the unique richness of our seminar, focused around 3 poles, Peace, Ethics and Love, expressed in fraternity and universal responsibility.

During the November 2018 seminar in Dharamsala, we will question ourselves :
- Who am I ? Do I recognize my truth and inner humanity ?
- How to identify the mechanisms and conditionings that limit the expression of my inner humanity ?
- How to develop the potential of my inner humanity ?
- What can be my active contribution in my area of expertise to the 5th Revolution of love and compassion ?
- How can I turn my knowledge and expertise into an energy of transformation that serves the world and future generations ?
